Directions: Heat the oil to 375 degrees F in a pan suitable for frying. Bring the water to the boil. Drop the pistachios pieces in the water and bring to a boil. Strain immediately and sprinkle with salt, pepper and powdered sugar. Mix with a spoon or spatula until the powdered sugar is melted and completely coating the nuts. Drop the coated nuts into the hot oil and fry until golden brown. Pour out onto a sheet pan to cool. |
